A REMINDER FOR INSURED PERSONS TRAVELING ABROAD

Traveling is one of the most exciting events in life. However, travel comes with risks. Below you will find an action plan in case you encounter an unpleasant situation while traveling abroad.

1. WHAT TO DO IF YOU URGENTLY NEED MEDICAL CARE ABROAD?

Call the Service Company (Assistance) at the phone numbers indicated in your policy (certificate),
as well as in the Memo, and inform:
• last name, first name;
• Your insurance company – "Halyk Insurance Company";
• answer the questions that the operator of the Service Company will ask.

The service company is a representative of the Halyk Insurance Company, which organizes the provision of medical and
other services upon the occurrence of an insured event according to the program of your policy.

IMPORTANT: notify the Service Company in a timely manner about the occurrence of an insured event and agree
on the procedure for obtaining medical services! Failure to notify the Service Company and failure to coordinate their
actions may lead to refusal of insurance payment.

2. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I COULDN'T GET IN TOUCH WITH A SERVICE COMPANY, DO YOU NEED HELP URGENTLY?

Contact the nearest medical institution and pay for medical care. At the earliest opportunity, but no later than 3 days after your request for medical help, report the insured event, by calling the Service company or the Insurance company "Halyk":

3. HOW TO GET AN INSURANCE REFUND, IF YOU HAVE PAID FOR MEDICAL EXPENSES?

Request and pick up at the clinic where you received medical services: 
• certified medical reports and examination results;
• documents confirming the payment you have made (invoices and receipts).

No later than 30 (thirty) business days from the date of return to the Republic of Kazakhstan, provide the Halyk Insurance Company
with a package of documents for reimbursement of expenses.



IMPORTANT: on the website of the Insurance Company "Halyk", an electronic version of the Rules for voluntary insurance of persons traveling abroad is posted on the link. After reviewing it, you
will receive information about the full package of documents for reimbursement of expenses, rights, obligations of the parties, the procedure for the occurrence of an insured event abroad, the amount of insurance coverage and the procedure the implementation of insurance payments.
