I am going to Europe. How many people can I add to the policy?

For a Schengen visa, there can be only one insured person per policy. A separate policy must be issued for each person. For a child, the policy is issued by the parent.

When does the policy become effective?

From the moment you cross the border of your destination country (based on the passport stamp), but no earlier than the policy start date. For all plans except "Multi-trip," coverage ends upon departure from the country or at 24:00 on the last day of the policy term.

What cases are not covered by the insurance?

The policy does not cover: • Orthodontics and orthopedics; • Cosmetology; • Preventive procedures; • Chronic dental diseases (unless in an acute stage); • Prosthetics; • Ritual services. A full list of exclusions is available in the Rules.

What should I do if I need urgent medical assistance abroad?

Immediately contact the Assistance service and provide: • Your Full Name; • Your insurance company — Halyk Insurance; • Answers to the operator's questions. Important: Notify the Assistance service as early as possible to coordinate treatment and avoid a claim denial. How does the Multi-trip plan work?

The policy is valid for the entire selected term. You choose the duration of each individual trip yourself: 10, 30, 45, 90, or 180 days. The number of trips is unlimited.

What does the SMS from 1414 mean?

Accepted Answer

This is a request for consent to collect and process personal data. Approval is mandatory; otherwise, the policy cannot be issued.

Question 7

Can I issue one policy for several countries?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can select multiple countries in one policy. Exception: If you select Schengen countries, you can only add other countries within the Schengen Area to that policy. And vice versa. This is a visa requirement.

Are there age restrictions?

Yes, the policy can only be issued for travelers aged 1 to 85 years.

Can I add extra options?

Yes. You can include additional options: payouts for baggage loss, trip cancellation, and other risks.

Why is my policy not being issued even though I replied to the SMS?

The system only accepts digits; do not include words like "Да", "Иә", or "OK." Refresh the page and repeat the process.

Is there a discount for children?

Yes. A 10% discount applies when insuring children aged 1 to 15 years.

Assistance is a service company that helps you abroad 24/7. They will: • Direct you to the nearest clinic; • Organize transportation; • Coordinate treatment; • Pay for medical services within the scope of your policy.

Why do I need a policy for traveling abroad?

To ensure your trip doesn't turn into unexpected expenses. If you fall ill or get injured abroad, the policy covers medical treatment and assistance. As a baseline, the policy covers the risks of sudden illness and injury. For example, if you need a doctor’s help or medical transportation during your trip, Halyk Insurance will reimburse the expenses within the sum insured.

What if I cannot reach the Assistance service?

How do I get a reimbursement if I paid for the treatment myself?

Obtain from the clinic: • Medical documents (reports, test results); • Invoices and payment receipts. Submit the document package to Halyk Insurance within 30 working days after returning to Kazakhstan.
