What to do in case of an insured event abroad: instructions for holders of premium cards from Halyk

We tell you where to turn in case of sudden illness or accident abroad

1. WHAT TO DO IF YOU NEED URGENT 
 MEDICAL ASSISTANCE ABROAD?

Call the Service Company (Assistance) at the numbers listed in your policy (certificate) 
and in the Memo, and provide:
• your surname and first name;
• your insurance company – Halyk Insurance Company;
• answer the questions asked by the Service Company operator.

The Service Company is a representative of Halyk Insurance Company that organises the provision of medical and 
other services in the event of an insured event in accordance with your policy programme.



IMPORTANT: notify the Service Company of the insured event in a timely manner and agree on the procedure 
for receiving medical services! Failure to notify the Service Company and agree on your 
actions may result in the refusal of insurance payment.

2. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I COULDN'T GET IN TOUCH WITH A SERVICE COMPANY, DO YOU NEED HELP URGENTLY?

Contact the nearest medical institution and pay for medical care. At the earliest opportunity, but no later than 3 days after your request for medical help, report the insured event, by calling the Service company or the Insurance company "Halyk":
